His mission is to garner support for initiatives aimed at the sustainable development of the area, which is critical for Nigeria's economic diversification and growth.

Dr. Okotete expressed her full support and readiness to partner with the NDBDA in these endeavors. She highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in achieving meaningful progress and assured Prince Amgbare of NEXIM's commitment to contributing to the development of the Niger Delta. She however hailed the bold steps Amgbare have taken thus far, liaising with other stakeholders from the region.

She referred Amgbare to other relevant ministries, agencies, and private entities that could play pivotal roles in supporting the NDBDA's objectives. She emphasized the need for a multi-faceted approach involving various sectors to drive significant and sustainable development in the region.

In his remarks, Prince Amgbare praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for retaining Dr. Stella Okotete as the Executive Director, Business Development at NEXIM, recognizing her exceptional contributions to the financial sector and her dedication to economic development. Oketete's leadership at NEXIM has been marked by a focus on improving access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises; championing various programmes designed to provide final support and capacity building resources. 

In turn, Dr. Okotete congratulated Prince Amgbare on his recent appointment as the MD/CEO of the NDBDA, expressing confidence in his ability to lead the authority towards achieving its goals.
